Job Description
- Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning
- Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; building a team-based work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; providing recognition and rewards; coaching for success and improvement; and ensuring diversity awareness
- Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application; ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy
- Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach events
Strategy Tech P rogram M anager
- You will own and execute enterprise-level technology programs to successful outcomes, in our continual mission to raise the bar of tech culture at Walmart
- You need to be extremely comfortable working with diverse teams (sometimes across different time zones) as well as collaborating with peers at all levels across our global organization
- You should be able to build strong networks and deep partnerships both inside and outside the organization
- You will need well-honed deep analytical and assimilation skills, possess extraordinary ability to influence key stakeholders and extremely articulate with written and oral communication skills
What you will do:
- Oversee execution of cross org programs that are geared towards technical and enterprise architectural excellence
- Work with senior architects, data scientists and engineering managers in the firm to design and execute these programs
- Build out a prioritization framework and operational roadmap for these programs
- Build effective working stakeholder relationships and a strong championship network within the firm to build adoption for these programs
What you will bring:
- You have handled tech project delivery (8-10 of tech delivery + pgm mgmt. experience)
- B.E./B.Tech/M.S./M.Tech/MBA or any computer science background from a tier 1 institution.

- Love wearing the enterprise/data architecture hat and how to up the tech excellence bar - be it at code/project/org level
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization.
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
- You have the hustle to make things work.
- You are stubborn about the results, but flexible about the means

Minimum Qualifications
Option 1: Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related area and 6 years experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area.
Option 2: 8 years experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area.
