Job Description
Role/ Job Title: Lead - LPO
Function/ Department: Debt Service Management Group
Job Purpose:
Heading entire LPO team which shall include both litigation and SARFAESI. Managing and supervising the LPO team for initiating legal action post eligibility.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Supervising LPO team for providing the Business Request to LPO Manager for initiation of Legal proceedings.
- Monitoring retrieval of SPDC cheques/ security mandate for Sec 138 & documents for Arbitration.
- To ensure that automated process is set up for SARFAESI, Sec 138, Arbitration & other legal actions along with allocation and retrieval process.
- To ensure initiation of SARFAESI action (i.e.: Issuance of 13(2) Notices in all eligible accounts).
- To ensure complete documentation of all eligible accounts within a prescribed TAT. Also, to ensure delivery reports of 13(2) Notices as issued and ensure publication within the prescribed TAT.
- To ensure adherence to the process.
- Implementation of Cryogenics platform.
- Weekly review the process, actionable of advocates and ensure adherence of all timelines.
- To ensure initiation of auction upon receipt of Reserve Price Approval through & to vet the draft of the Sale Certificate upon receipt of necessary approval.
- To ensure updating of entire SARFAESI MIS, AHFS MIS, LPO MIS & Dashboard on weekly basis and sharing the same with entire team.
- To ensure all the resolution of vendors issue and review of work allocated to them.
- To ensure sharing data within the stipulated timeline to Audit, Treasury & Policy teams and ensure its weekly or monthly updating.
- Vendor Billing.
- Additional Responsibilities towards retrieval of necessary documents by coordinating with Ops team.
- To ensure cost effective & time bound vendors are empanelled for publication and replies of SARFAESI notices.
- To ensure the growth of team by conducting trainings and other development programs.
- To ensure resolution of all Audit related issues within the stipulated time.
- Support business verticals in coordination with the LPO team in new business initiatives.
- Regulatory reporting.
- Managing Audit, Supervising advocate allocation for legal initiation, MIS & Dashboard circulation, Adherence of process & Cryogenics usage, Regulatory reporting.
