Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of ingredients, mise en place, and cooking of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Support Station Chef: Work closely with the Chef de Partie and other senior chefs in your assigned section, helping to maintain food quality and presentation.
- Learning and Training: Participate in training and skill development opportunities to enhance your culinary knowledge and skills.
- Kitchen Organization: Keep your work area clean and organized, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist in Plating: Assist in the final plating and presentation of dishes, ensuring they meet the established standards.
- Inventory Control: Assist with the inventory management of ingredients and supplies, notifying senior chefs when restocking is needed.
- Compliance: Follow all kitchen guidelines, including safety, health, and hygiene protocols.
- Learn Menu Items: Familiarize yourself with the menu items and be prepared to answer basic questions from kitchen staff or servers.
