Job Description
The Visual Designer is a junior member within the marketing team and takes pride in individually creating brand related campaigns- videos and static. The skills and expertise requires to create visual concepts that communicate ideas and messages. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of current design softwares and be skilled in every step of the design process, from concept to final deliverable. The graphic designer should be able to take written or spoken ideas and convert them into a design that connects. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of branding and marketing, and be able to find the right style and layout for every project
Responsibilities and Duties
- Create and design various materials for digital and print
- Develop illustrations, logos, videos and other designs using software
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
- The day-to-day tasks will consist of creating visually engaging, innovative and functional designs as per the brief.
- Ensure projects are completed in a timely manner with a quality product
- Work with a wide range of media and graphic design software
- Establish creative direction for the company within brand guidelines
- Manage multiple projects within design specifications
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Should have 3-4 years of experience in graphic designing- both digital and Print
- A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
- Familiarity with design software and technologies (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, PremiumPro)
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
- Should possess in-depth knowledge of typography, iconography, color, space, and brand guidelines
- Should be energetic & a thinking person
- Degree in graphic design, art, or related discipline is a plus
