Job Description
Desired Candidate Profile
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of senior backend, frontend, DevOps, and QA engineers
- Drive the development, maintenance, and optimization of a large-scale, modern full stack search platform
- Ensure timely resolution of production issues and incidents across the stack
- Collaborate with engineers to deliver high-quality, end-to-end software solutions
- Work closely with a global team to evolve the platforms architecture and capabilities
- Oversee and participate in the release process, ensuring smooth and efficient deployments
- Optimize both backend and frontend codebases and infrastructure for performance, scalability, and availability
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in fullstack development with a strong backend foundation
- 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership or team lead role
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, object databases, ElasticSearch/Solr
- Solid experience with frontend technologies: TypeScript, JavaScript, Stencil.js, Svelte, CSS, HTML
- Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, REST APIs, and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of scalable, high-performance system design
- Excellent communication skills in English (B2+)
- Nice-to-have: Python, ETL pipelines, big data solutions, Node.js, test automation tools
