Job Description

We are seeking a talented Piping Designer with expertise in AutoCAD Plant 3D for our EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) based company. As a Piping Designer, you will play a crucial role in the design and layout of piping systems for various industrial projects. Experience with piping material take-off (MTO) and E3D layout is mandatory for this position.

Responsibilities:

1. Utilize Autodesk AutoCAD Plant 3D software to design and draft piping layouts, isometrics, and models for industrial projects.
2. Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop piping designs that meet specifications and standards.
3. Generate piping material take-offs (MTO) to facilitate procurement activities and ensure accurate estimation of material quantities.
4. Create detailed piping drawings, including plans, sections, and elevations, to communicate design intent effectively.
5. Incorporate piping design changes and revisions based on feedback from project stakeholders and ensure timely updates to documentation.
6. Conduct clash detection and resolution to identify and resolve interferences between piping systems and other plant components.
7. Assist in the development of piping specifications, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and client requirements.
8. Work closely with other design disciplines, such as structural, electrical, and instrumentation, to coordinate piping layouts with overall plant design.
9. Provide support during construction and commissioning phases by reviewing piping installations and addressing any design-related issues or challenges.
