Senior Software Engineer @ TIBCO

• Design and develop on-premise and cloud server-side JasperReport Server (JRS)

• Design and develop distributed, high-throughput, low-latency, highly available, and resilient systems

• Develop unit, integration, system, or any tests that are needed to help the team deliver value quickly, with a high degree of quality

• Work with senior management, engineering, product managers, and other stakeholders to define the overall scope of the product Cloud JRS solutions, help distill requirements from various internal and external sources to specific features

• Help address customer field issues in response to support escalations, customer requests, etc.

• Document functional and technical specifications for application enhancements

• Provide guidance and feedback to others to strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas

• Carry out code reviews

Required Experience/Skills:

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent

• 7+ years of software development experience, with a focus on Java applications

• 2+ years of experience in distributed systems programming using Java technologies on AWS or Azure

• 2+ years experience of development using containers and virtual machines including , Docker, Kubernetes, etc.

• Have experience in using Spring and Hibernate

• Have experience in using SQL

• Working experience in using and writing REST APIs

• Strong experience working with a relational database

• Deep understanding and experience of version control system management using various Git workflows

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to mentor and inspire team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
