Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP Developer to join our dynamic SAP team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in custom SAP developments, advanced programming using ABAP OOP, and strong integration capabilities using APIs and OData services. The role involves working closely with functional teams to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions across SAP modules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain custom SAP applications using ABAP, including:
- Smart Forms and Adobe Forms
- Module Pool programming
- Editable and Interactive ALV Reports
- Object-Oriented ABAP (OOP)
- Develop and expose services using OData and consume external APIs as required.
- Create and optimize CDS Views for SAP Fiori and analytics use cases.
- Perform system debugging and troubleshoot complex issues across SAP applications.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and end-users to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs.
- Ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices.
- Provide mentoring and technical guidance to junior developers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Proficient in Object-Oriented ABAP.
- Strong experience with:
- Smart Forms, Adobe Forms
- Editable and Interactive ALV
- CDS Views and OData Services
- Module Pool programming
- API integration and REST services
- Excellent debugging and performance tuning skills.
- Strong understanding of SAP Data Dictionary and enhancement frameworks (User Exits, BADIs, Enhancements).
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to mentor and support junior team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA environment.
- Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 or other front-end frameworks.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps tools.
