As we expand our operations and teams, we are looking for an experienced Data Annotation Team Leader to lead and inspire a group of Data Annotation Specialists. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our telecom tower modeling efforts. As a Data Annotation Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of Data Annotation Specialists engaged in analyzing and enhancing 3-dimensional models of telecom towers. Your leadership and guidance will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and timely completion of projects. Responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of processing (tagging/labeling 3D objects). Requirements: Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Data Annotation Specialists, fostering a. collaborative and productive work environment. Leverage your knowledge in the telecom sector to meet project goals and deadlines effectively. Strategy and Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive annotation strategy that aligns with organizational goals. This requires a deep understanding of 2D and 3D structures, cloud platforms, and a commitment to continuous learning and adaptation to new technologies in the field of 2D and 3D vision. Quality Assurance and Control: Oversee the quality control processes to ensure that quality standards are met through analyzing data sets for accurate tagging/labeling. This role entails periodic audits of 3rd party data annotation work and ensuring adherence to QC standards Project Management and Coordination: Coordinate project activities, from planning and assignment to ensuring efficient progress and timely completion. This includes managing the daily workload effectively and assigning overflow work to 3rd party vendors as necessary. Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and skill development opportunities for team members, keeping them updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices. Foster a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges. Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular performance evaluations, offering feedback and guidance to support team members" professional growth. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and goals for final evaluation. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive records of annotations and measurements, overseeing the generation of reports as needed. Manage the workflow and collaboration on cloud platforms and other cloud-based systems, ensuring the effective management of project data within the organization's data management systems. Collaboration: Enhance collaboration within the team and with cross-functional groups to streamline data annotation and enrichment processes. Foster collaboration between team members and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data enrichment efforts. Process Optimization: In collaboration with the Operational Excellence Manager, continuously review and improve annotation workflows to increase data quality and operational efficiency. Focus on implementing continuous process enhancements. Issue and Escalation Handling: Manage and resolve project challenges, providing timely escalations when necessary. Address and resolve any challenges or issues that arise during the annotation process, ensuring smooth project progression. Qualifications:Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Geography, or related field preferred. Experience: Proven leadership in data annotation or related fields, with strong project management skills. Attention to Detail: High accuracy and quality control standards. Industry Knowledge: Understanding of telecom infrastructure; Telecommunications equipment knowledge highly desirable. Software Proficiency: Proficient in annotation, dimensioning, modeling tools; BIM, 2D/3D CAD drafting knowledge highly desirable. Communication Skills: Excellent team communication and collaboration abilities. Organizational Skills: Effective time management and project coordination capabilities. Leadership: Demonstrated commitment to team success; ability to inspire and motivate. Technical Knowledge: Familiar with computer vision software libraries, frameworks, and tools
