Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior MERN Stack Developer to join our dynamic development team. The candidate will be responsible for building modern, scalable web applications using MySQL/Postgres and MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, writes clean and efficient code, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack with both SQL and NoSQL database.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other developers to create high-quality solutions.
- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
- Optimize components for maximum performance across devices and browsers.
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure performance and reliability.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Follow best practices for software development, including version control and CI/CD.
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in MongoDB and MySQL/Postgres, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
- Experience with modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Proficiency in building responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React.
- Hands-on experience with Redux or similar state management libraries.
- Experience with RESTful API design and integration.
- Familiarity with Git, Docker, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in frameworks like Next.js
- Experience in projects using serverless architecture or microservices.
Nice to have :
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Prior experience in leading teams or projects.
