Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Design Strategy:
- Develop and implement creative strategies that align with the companys goals and enhance brand identity across all visual touchpoints.
- Ensure the design team delivers high-quality, user-centered design solutions across all projects.
Leadership and Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of designers, conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Identify skill gaps and provide training and development opportunities for the team.
Client Engagement:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and translating them into effective design solutions.
- Present creative design ideas and pitches to clients, showcasing the value and impact of our design services.
Hands-On Design Development:
- Participate in hands-on design tasks, including UI and UX design, to set the standard for quality and creativity.
- Utilize Adobe tools, Figma, and Web Flow to create compelling design assets and prototypes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of design into the product development process.
- Drive development strategies that enhance product functionality and user experience.
Innovation Trends:
- Stay ahead of industry trends, tools, and techniques to keep the design team at the cutting edge of creative excellence.
- Incorporate new techniques and approaches to continuously improve the design process and outcomes.
Required Skill Sets and Qualifications:
- 12+ years of hands-on design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative work.
- Proven experience managing a design team.
- Proficiency in Adobe tools, Figma, and Web Flow.
- Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and user-centered design methodologies.
- Strong ability to present and pitch creative ideas to clients.
- Hands-on coding skills and the ability to drive development strategies.
- Ability to think strategically and creatively, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Bachelors degree in Design or a related field.
