Job Description Group Operations Manager Job Summary Location: Bangalore Project role: Group operations manager Qualification: B-Tech Experience: 7-12 Years Skills: Big Data Technologies No. of positions: 1 Job Description: Kafka JD: Strong experience in Apache/Confluent Kafka on Azure Kubernetes Working Knowledge on Strimzi Operator Strong Knowledge on Production/complex workloads, analyzing logs, Kafka API, Kafka Connect, Mirror Maker, thread dumps, and profiler results from Kafka and Zookeeper Should have Exposure to design and implementation of high availability (HA) solution using Cluster Ability of Designing operationalizing maintaining and scaling production Kafka clusters Responsible for Kafka tuning capacity planning disaster recovery replication and troubleshooting Implementing Kafka security limiting bandwidth usage enforcing client quotas backup and restoration Hands-on expertise on setting up SSL, certificate/key management Experience with installing. patching, upgrading, administering, scripting, and maintaining/troubleshooting Kafka To identify attrition percentage in accounts and take up initiatives to reduce the same To perform value addition activities (CIP and SIP) and implement strategies to improve productivity. To implement Profit Implement Plan (PIP), review Budget vs. Actual Cost and analyse the deviation to plan strategies to reduce deviation through levers like Automation and self-driven initiatives. To ensure retention of accounts that are due for renewal or maintain high level of customer satisfaction (ACSAT) To ensure that all responsibilities and project deliverables are completed within SLAs through effective team management and monthly reviews To ensure generation of an account level EE and EN revenue To ensure absorption of freshers as per the defined account targets
