Job Description: This opportunity is for recent M.Tech, PhD graduates, and early-career professionals who are passionate to contribute to the growth of offshore floating wind energy and shape the future of clean energy production. Experience: 0-10 years Responsibilities As an Offshore Wind Energy System Designer & Analyst, you will be responsible for the following: Mechanical and Structural engineering, preferably for Off-shore structures emphasis on floating structures. Structural analysis and structural integrity management (SIM) services for a range of fixed offshore structures including jackets, jack-ups, jetties, offshore wind turbines, and substations. Ad-hoc structural analysis (e.g. jacket & topside models and modifications, pile/soil modelling, strength and fatigue analysis, pushover, ship impact, fire & blast, seismic assessment, FEA). Perform structural analysis and simulations of Wind Turbine and blade design, with focus on reliability, lifetime cost, and. aero-elastic designs of structures. Stay informed about the latest advancements in offshore wind technology and contribute to research efforts to improve system performance and efficiency. Qualifications To be considered for the Offshore Wind Energy System Design & Analysis position, candidates should possess the following qualifications: Education: A Ph.D. or M.Tech degree in Structural engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Oceanic and Naval Engineering, Oceanography, or a related field is required. Experience: 0-10 years of relevant experience after graduation in the field of offshore wind energy or a closely related area is preferred. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using software tools such as COMSOL, Bladed and Sesam, Ansys, OpenFOAM, MATLAB or specialized wind energy analysis software is highly desirable. Knowledge: A deep understanding of offshore wind energy systems, including turbine technology, floater structure, wind resource assessment, and environmental impact assessment.
