SDET Engineer @ Wissen Technology

Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web and backend applications.

Write clear, efficient, and scalable automated test scripts using tools such as Rest Assured , Cypress , Playwright , etc.

Conduct thorough API testing and validation using tools and frameworks.

Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure seamless integration of automated tests in CI/CD pipelines.

Execute test cases, report bugs, and ensure timely resolution of issues.

Perform data validation using SQL queries to ensure backend accuracy.

Maintain and enhance existing automation scripts and address test gaps proactively.

Contribute to performance testing and system reliability efforts as needed.

Required Skills:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science , Engineering, or a related field.

3-5 years of hands-on experience in automation testing of web and backend systems.

Strong experience with API testing tools , especially Rest Assured .

Good understanding and hands-on experience with test automation frameworks like Cypress , Playwright , or Protractor .

Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Java , Python , or JavaScript .

Experience writing and executing SQL queries for data validation.

Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins , GitLab CI , etc.

Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
