SAP Sr. ABAP Consultant Location: Remote Home Office in India English Level: C2 or Fluent What you will do: We are seeking an experienced and passionate SAP Sr. ABAP Consultant with a strong focus on SAP Software Product Development, including the creation of SAP Add-ons and Solution Extensions. If you have a proven track record of SAP development expertise and technical acumen, this role offers an exciting opportunity to join our amazing team. Our consultants are involved in all phases of a life cycle implementation, with a focus on timely and accurate delivery. The consultant works closely with the Project Manager to ensure a smooth and accurate implementation for our clients. Requirements: Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, or equivalent experience. At least eight years of experience as an SAP ABAP Developer and SAP Workflow, with a specific emphasis on SAP Software Product Development, including SAP Add-ons and Solution. Extensions. Up to date with the latest best practices for S/4HANA and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) development. General development experience with SAP FI and MM modules. SAP certifications related to ABAP Development and S/4HANA are highly regarded. SAP Development Skills and Technical Expertise: Mastery of modern ABAP/4 and Object-Oriented programming. Experience in developing SAP Add-ons or Solution Extensions with a consideration for scalability and customization. Understanding of ABAP/4 Best Practices, with an ability to implement performance tuning and maintain coding standards. Proficiency in SAP Workflow and integration technologies, including SAP NetWeaver Gateway, SAP Cloud Platform Integration, or SAP PI/PO. Capability to work with SOAP and RESTful web services and optimize ABAP code for performance, ensuring efficient data exchange and minimizing processing times. Expertise in asynchronous processing, job scheduling, and message handling within SAP. Documentation: Excellent documentation skills, capable of creating clear code comments, process documentation, and technical specifications, as well as user guides and manuals for developed solutions.
