Job Description

We are seeking a Sr. QA Automation Engineer with a strong foundation in software engineering QA methodologies, very good in Front-end & Backed automation and proven experience leading teams to deliver successful creative interactive entertainment software experiences. Understanding the product architecture, formulate suitable automation frameworks/tools, and release process. Automation execution and triage results. Enhance the automation framework, Automation of functional tests. Collaboratively work across other functional teams, Architects, Product Managers, and Business stakeholders to identify the technical and functional needs of systems. Technically Agile: Proven ability to drive QA success via integrated cross-functional teams involving deep collaboration with engineering and design. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web UIs built with React JS using industry-standard automation frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium WebDriver, or Puppeteer. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and UX designers to understand requirements, identify test scenarios, and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Execute and analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to troubleshoot issues and drive timely resolution. Develop and maintain test data, test environments, and other testing infrastructure components to support automated testing efforts. Participate in test planning, estimation, and review activities to ensure testability, scalability, and maintainability of test automation solutions. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members, share best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QA team. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 8 years of experience in QA automation, with a strong focus on testing web applications and UIs built using React JS. Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test suites using popular automation frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium WebDriver, or Puppeteer. Solid understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React JS, with the ability to debug frontend issues and analyse browser interactions. Very well versed with Data driven frameworks and POM, Maven. Experience in API testing Experience in build management: nightly/timely builds, preferably using Jenkins. Experience or good working knowledge in Database testing. Very good in feature testing, system testing, regression testing, UI testing. Experience working with open-source databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB, including writing SQL queries and validating data integrity. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to analyse complex systems to identify root causes of issues. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment. Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, Agile, or AWS Certified Developer (optional but preferred).
