Job Description

Job Title: Sales Training Manager - Tele Sales

Responsibilities:

  1. Training Needs Identification:

    • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to identify training needs through direct interactions and analysis of reports.
    • Conduct regular meetings to stay informed about the evolving requirements and challenges in the tele sales domain.
  2. Training Planning:

    • Develop targeted training interventions for the sales team based on the identified needs.
    • Create a comprehensive training calendar aligned with business objectives and ensure its consistent implementation.
  3. Training Delivery Oversight:

    • Ensure all training activities are executed according to the established calendar.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training sessions, making adjustments as necessary.
  4. Performance Review:

    • Review daily files to assess sales team performance and share observations with location heads.
    • Collaborate with location heads to implement improvement strategies based on observations.
  5. New Employee Induction:

    • Plan and execute a dynamic New Employee Induction program for tele sales representatives.
    • Ensure new hires receive comprehensive training on product knowledge, sales techniques, and company processes.
  6. Training Efficacy Tracking:

    • Prepare and maintain monthly reports to track the efficacy of sales training programs.
    • Analyze data to provide insights for continuous improvement in training methodologies.
  7. Product and Process Training:

    • Support effective onboarding, sales, and product training for existing Life Insurance, General Insurance, and other product lines.
    • Develop engaging training modules for both technical and non-technical skills.
  8. Content Development:

    • Create and update training content and process modules to ensure alignment with industry best practices.
    • Regularly update training materials to keep them relevant and effective.
  9. Collaboration:

    • Work collaboratively with internal teams to stay updated on evolving sales strategies and tactics.
    • Collaborate with external partners to enhance training programs and incorporate industry trends.
  10. Subject Matter Expertise:

    • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for tele sales projects and initiatives within the department and the broader company.
    • Provide insights and recommendations based on expertise in sales training.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field; additional certifications in sales training are a plus.
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering effective tele sales training programs.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data for decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with the insurance industry and tele sales processes.
