Position Overview: We are seeking a highly creative and talented Interior Designer to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to conceptualize and execute interior design solutions for various building materials. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the development of innovative and visually stunning products. Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement interior design concepts for mosaics, tiles, sanitary ware, marble, doors, and. windows. Create mood boards, concept sketches, and 3D renderings to communicate design ideas effectively. Develop product specifications, including material selection, finishes, and color schemes, to meet client requirements and industry standards. Utilize software tools such as Photoshop, AutoCAD, and Canvas to create and modify designs as needed. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and design innovations to inform product development and enhance design capabilities. Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure the feasibility and quality of design concepts during the production process. Provide design support for marketing initiatives, including product launches, promotional materials, and showroom displays. Collaborate with sales teams to understand client needs and preferences, providing design solutions that align with their vision and budget. Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes, workflows, and best practices within the organization. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Proven experience in interior design, preferably within the building materials industry. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, AutoCAD, and Canvas. Strong conceptual and creative skills, with the ability to translate ideas into visually compelling designs. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Detail-oriented approach with a focus on quality and craftsmanship. Knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and building codes. Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and client expectations. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements. Experience working with clients and suppliers to achieve project goals. Portfolio showcasing relevant design projects and skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with 3D rendering software such as SketchUp, Revit, or 3ds Max. Familiarity with sustainable design principles and practices. Knowledge of local building regulations and codes. Previous experience working in a showroom or retail environment. Willingness to travel for client meetings, site visits, and industry events. Note: Freshers with a strong portfolio and demonstrable skills in design software will also be considered for this position.
