Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Solve complex problems using technology with a domain focus on test automation.
- Define and evangelize a shift-left based Quality Engineering strategy focused on prevention and detection to enable rapid, high-quality, and stable product releases.
- Work in a highly agile environment with a strong sense of urgency.
- Promote and support a culture of automation-first and cloud-first principles.
- Build and enhance a complex test automation harness for web and mobile applications using Java.
- Develop automation code applicable across regression, functional, load, and integration testing phases.
- Collaborate with test and software engineers to identify testing gaps and build automated solutions.
- Continuously improve existing automation testing frameworks and tools.
- Develop drivers, connectors, and data injectors to facilitate end-to-end automated testing.
- Assist test engineers in building test suites using the automation harness.
Experience Requirements:
- 4-7 years of experience working with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
- In-depth understanding of APIs, including HTTP, JSON, REST, XML, SOAP, sync/async, and OpenAPI specifications.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming concepts and design patterns.
- Hands-on experience with API automation tools like RestAssured or HTTP client libraries.
- Proficiency with UI test automation tools like Selenium WebDriver and Appium.
- Experience in developing, maintaining, and enhancing custom test automation frameworks.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with clear and logical thinking.
Education: B.Tech M.Tech (Dual), MCA, B.Tech.
