Job Description

We are looking forward for a suitable candidate for the position of Software Tester / Quality Assurance Manager role for the Health Sector Domain.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of our biomedical and healthcare IT software.
• Conduct functional, usability, integration, and performance testing to identify defects and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and system
• architecture to create effective test strategies.
• Identify and report software defects, providing clear and detailed documentation of issues and their resolutions.
• Perform regression testing to verify software fixes and enhancements, ensuring that previously identified defects have been addressed.
• Work closely with the development team to replicate and validate reported issues.
• Participate in design and specification reviews to provide input on testability and quality aspects of the software under development.
• Assist in identifying, implementing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks and tools for efficient and effective testing.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and advancements in the biomedical and healthcare IT sector to improve testing
• processes and methodologies.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
• Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including standards and regulations related to healthcare data and systems.
• Experience in testing healthcare software applications, including Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, medical imaging software,or healthcare data analytics platforms is a plus.
• Experience in automation testing using cypress tool, JEST, Java script is a must.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively identify and isolate software defects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document test cases, test results, and defect reports accurately.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Experience:
Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing within the biomedical and healthcare IT sector.
