Position Description: Senior SDET will be responsible for the creation of tests to identify issues with software before the product launch. Also, will be responsible for identifying and analysing any bugs and errors found during the test phase and documenting them for review after. Other tasks include developing and running new. tests, reporting on the results and collaborating with software developers to fix program issues. Training & mentoring the folks working with him/her. Roles & Responsibilities: Take complete, end to end ownership of developing testing pipelines of majorly customer-facing products. Writing automation scripts to automate new functionality and to make improvements in automation framework Design test plans/strategies and execute, implementing efficient processes/methods to test web UI, web APIs and desktop applications. Develop and implement high and low-level system design for newer projects Develop scripts and set up the infrastructure for monitoring and logging for all deployed software Evaluate, profile and improve the functionality of existing systems Coordinate with internal teams to understand data processing pipelines and provide technical solutions Design and execute strategies for performance and load testing White Box testing would be required to be performed hence the understanding knowledge of the code should be a key part of the role, existing Python knowledge would be a plus here Requirements 5+ years of work experience in all phases of software testing cycle Good working experiences of web services, databases and experience with web technologies including REST, AJAX, JQuery etc. Working knowledge of scripting languages including Python, Ruby, Shell, Java etc. Hands on experience in design and creation of Test Cases based on Requirements document. Working knowledge of testing automation tools and creating frameworks such as selenium, locust etc. Experience in Black/Gray/White Box Testing, Functional Testing, Automation testing, Regression testing, and API testing. Internally motivated, able to work proficiently both independently and in a team environment Good understanding of cloud services like AWS and GCP Working experience with Mobile application testing for both Android and iOS Good coding skills is required here, which would play an immense role in WhiteBox Testing Good interpersonal skills are a must, as role comes with collaborative work with other team members Experience with DevOps technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, CI/CD, etc Good To Haves: Experience and understanding knowledge of Python Experience with PostGIS or any other geo-database Experience in testing back-end applications based on Django framework Experience with UI/API/Workflow Applications automated testing Experience in Mobile app automation using mainly Appium Experience working in both startup and enterprise culture
