We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Test Analyst to join our dynamic and innovative remote team. As a Test Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing processes. Your responsibilities will include analyzing system requirements, designing detailed test cases, define testing objectives, design testing proceduresexecuting tests and reporting and tracking defects. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, excellent analytical skills and a passion for delivering high-quality software. Responsibilities: Design and create detailed, effective test plans, test cases, test scripts, test scenarios, test data sets and test environments to ensure that they meet. organizational standards that cover all aspects of the software. Define testing scope, objectives and timelines. Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand and analyze system requirements. Assist in the development and implementation of testing strategies that align with project timelines and objectives. Collaborate with the Testing Team to create detailed, well-structured test cases based on functional and technical specifications. Work closely with the Testing Team in identifying, logging, and tracking defects in the defect tracking system. Assist the Testing team in conducting comprehensive regression testing to ensure that new features and enhancements do not negatively impact existing functionality. Contribute to the development and maintenance of regression test suites. Collaborate with the Testing team to design and execute integration tests, ensuring the seamless interaction between different components of the software. * Work closely with the Project Manager, Test Lead, developers, business analysts, and other team members to ensure a comprehensive understanding of project requirements. Assist in communicating testing progress, results, and issues to project stakeholders. Collaborate with the Test Lead to contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies. * Ensure that test cases are aligned with project specifications and user expectations. Execute test cases manually and/or using automated testing tools. Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains intact after changes. Identify and document software defects with clear and concise information. Maintain accurate records of testing activities and results. Work closely with developers, business analysts and other team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Participate in regular team meetings to discuss project status, issues and resolutions. Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to test plans, test cases, and testing processes. Provide clear and concise reports on testing progress and results. Requirements: 2 years experience as a Test Analyst. Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies and practices. Must have a certification or formal education in Testing. Experience with both manual and automated testing. Knowledge of testing tools and frameworks. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
