Senior Software Tester @ WV Outsourcing

Job Description

: We are seeking an experienced Software Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting both manual and automated tests to ensure the software created by developers fits its purpose. This role involves analysis of software to prevent issues and fixing bugs before the product is dispatched to users. Your insights will play a pivotal role in developing software that is efficient, reliable, and scalable. Key Responsibilities: Conduct. automated and manual tests to ensure the software created is fit for purpose. Analysis of software, systems, and user requirements to derive testing strategies. Identify bugs and quality issues in development, service, or business processes. Collaborate with software developers to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Produce detailed and concise testing reports periodically. Provide feedback and recommendations to the software development team for improvements, efficiency enhancements, and scaling issues. Manage testing for a variety of applications, including edge device applications and iOS/Android apps. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 4+ years of experience in software testing or a similar role. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. Hands-on experience with automated testing tools. Proficiency in PHP, Node.js, Angular, and Express. Experience with Laravel framework is a plus. Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing. A keen eye for detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
