Work on varied environments. Location : Bangalore Koramangala or Coimbatore. We are seeking a. highly skilled Quality Analyst with 6-12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in manual testing, along with good experience in Cypress/Playwright UI and REST automation. Additionally, the candidate should thrive in a challenging environment with tight and changing deadlines, demonstrate proactive communication skills in a remote environment, and be able to work with different devices. Responsibilities Manual Testing: Conduct manual testing activities including test case creation, execution, and defect reporting. Ensure thorough test coverage of functional and non-functional requirements. Automated Testing: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress/Playwright for UI testing and REST automation. Execute automated test suites and analyze results for identifying defects and regression issues. Test Planning and Strategy: Participate in test planning activities, including defining test scope, strategy, and approach. Collaborate with the team to prioritize testing activities based on project timelines and requirements. Challenging Environment: Adapt to a challenging work environment with tight and changing deadlines, maintaining a focus on quality and efficiency. Demonstrate resilience and the ability to effectively manage workload under pressure. Communication: Communicate proactively with the team in a remote environment, providing regular updates on testing progress, issues, and risks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on testing objectives and deliverables. Device Testing: Conduct testing on different devices including desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices to ensure compatibility and responsiveness. Identify and report device-specific issues and ensure a consistent user experience across devices. Defect Management: Log defects accurately and comprehensively, providing clear steps to reproduce and detailed information for resolution. Work closely with developers and stakeholders to prioritize and resolve defects in a timely manner. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 6-12 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing roles. Strong expertise in manual testing methodologies and techniques. Good experience in Cypress/Playwright UI and REST automation. Ability to thrive in a challenging work environment with tight and changing deadlines. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
