Position: Asst. Manager/ Manager, Food & Beverage Service Property: 5-star luxury Svenska Design Hotel Location: Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh Salary Range: Rs. 3.0 to Rs. 4.2 lacs per annum Min. Experience: 10+ years in the hotel industry Job Summary: Svenska Design Hotels are an upscale European hospitality chain from Sweden with 600+ properties worldwide and 40 hotels across India. Svenska Kakinada is the first and only 5-star hotel in the entire East Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic F&B professional to lead and elevate our food and beverage operations. As head of department (HOD) and a member of the unit management team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of service and quality standards while delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in upscale hospitality, extensive food and beverage management experience, and a passion for creating. memorable moments for our guests. F&B Outlets: Grand Ballroom Mesa Cafe All Day Dining Global Buffet Miro Lounge Bar Sky Lounge Bar Private Dining Areas Board Rooms In Room Dining Delivery & Takeaways Packed Orders Bakery & Confectionery Banqueting & Conferencing Responsibilities: Develop and execute a comprehensive food and beverage strategy aligned with the hotel's brand positioning to drive revenue and guest satisfaction. Oversee all food and beverage outlets within the hotel, including our upscale restaurants, bars, banquets, and in-room dining, ensuring impeccable service and quality offerings. Collaborate closely with our Executive Chef to curate innovative menus that reflect our commitment to culinary excellence and cater to the preferences of our discerning guests. Conduct regular training sessions for the food and beverage team, empowering them to deliver personalised, attentive, and refined service at all times. Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement among the food and beverage staff, setting clear performance expectations and providing regular feedback. Work closely with the Procurement team to maintain optimal inventory levels, control costs, and minimise wastage while upholding the highest quality standards. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, maintaining a hygienic and safe environment for both guests and team members. Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing department to create attractive packages, promotions, and special events to drive revenue and enhance the overall guest experience. Handle guest feedback and complaints with the utmost professionalism and efficiency, resolving issues promptly and implementing corrective actions where necessary. Prepare and manage the annual food and beverage department budget, analyzing financial performance regularly, and taking proactive steps to achieve financial goals. Conduct regular inspections and spot checks of all outlets and event spaces to maintain consistency and uphold the Svenska Design Hotel's service standards. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging dining preferences, and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation. Participate actively in relevant hotel meetings and training sessions to contribute to the overall success of the hotel. Requirements: Minimum of 10 years of hospitality experience, with min. 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role Degree or diploma in Hotel Management or a related field Proven track record of achieving revenue targets, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor a diverse team In-depth knowledge of local and international cuisine, food trends, and beverage offerings Strong financial acumen, with experience in budget preparation and cost control measures Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on business demands Strong fluency in English essential, and Telugu desirable To apply, please submit your resume, along with your current and expected compensation to hidden_email
