Main Purpose
This role is responsible for maintaining excellent support to the travel agent partners. Customer service skills are key for this role and having a solid set of problem solving and sales skills are essential. The Hotel Operations Executive will have a drive to provide support for their partners through effective follow up and operational assistance.
Responsibilities
Handle incoming and outgoing travel agents/ suppliers/ internal calls.
Handle email communication with travel agents/ suppliers/ internal staff
Help Travel agent/ internal staff for booking related queries, amendments and escalations. Provide technical support to travel agents and resolve operational issues.
Thorough understanding of the portal for the hotel product and ancillary services.
Coordinate with suppliers for Confirmation, amendments, complaints, escalations.
Negotiate best terms with suppliers for agent escalation cases.
Handling pending/ failed bookings and ensuring conversions.
Provide best-in-class quantitative and qualitative service to travel agents.
Other potential work engagements as decided by the Company.
Requirements
1+ years of operations experience in the travel distribution industry or any relevant experience in Travel domain will work.
Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
Work across all shifts and all days.
Language: Proficiency in both English and Hindi.
Prior travel industry experience is essential. Preferably from operations/ customer care.
Bachelor degree or equivalent desirable
Excellent time management skills.
Flexible and adaptable.
Strong attention to detail with excellent follow up skills.
