: We are seeking an experienced IBM Mainframe Developer with a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in the following areas: Proficiency in COBOL programming language Management of job processes using JCL (Job Control Language) Handling of online transactions with CICS (Customer Information Control System) Working with the DB2 database Management of data files with VSAM (Virtual Storage Access Method) Understanding of hierarchical databases with IMS (Information Management System) Utilization of mainframe tools such as TSO (Time Sharing Option) and ISPF (Interactive System Productivity Facility) Proficient debugging and troubleshooting skills Experience with version control systems Effective communication skills Strong problem-solving abilities Optimization of performance Thorough documentation of processes Efficient. project management skills Ability to adapt to changes in mainframe technology
