Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented ELV Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and drafting Extra Low Voltage systems for various projects. As an ELV Draftsman, you will be responsible for producing accurate technical drawings and plans for ELV systems in accordance with project requirements and industry standards. Key Responsibilities Create detailed technical drawings and plans for ELV systems including but not limited to structured cabling, CCTV, Access control, Public address, Fire alarm, VESDA and data networks. Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and other data to produce accurate drawings. Ensure that all drawings comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations. Work closely with Pre- Sales Team, Project managers, and other team members to understand project requirements and incorporate design changes into drawings. Collaborate with other drafters and designers to coordinate the. integration of ELV systems with other building services. Review and revise drawings as necessary to incorporate design changes or corrections. Maintain organized documentation of all drawings and revisions. Assist in the preparation of material take-offs and cost estimates for ELV systems. Requirements Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field. Minimum 3 years of experience working as an ELV Draftsman or similar role. Proficiency in AutoCAD software. Familiarity with ELV systems and components. Strong understanding of engineering principles and standards. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
