Job Description
- Responsible for compliance, lead key accounting processes and provide strategic financial insights
- Overseeing the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Managing the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including consolidated reports for multi-entity organizations.
- Handling Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) compliance, ensuring accurate and timely deductions in accordance with tax laws. Developing and implementing robust financial controls to safeguard assets and ensure data accuracy.
- Preparing detailed financial reports and presentations for executive leadership.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial strategies.
- Handling Goods and Services Tax (GST) compliance, maintaining records, and adhering to statutory requirements.
- Conducting vendor reconciliations to maintain good relationships with suppliers and presenting the reports to management
- Will be responsible for maintaining and submitting various companies accounts, which are registered in India as well one has to maintain ledger/ accounts of Prime MNS which is registered in UAE
- Along with companies one has to maintain vessels account which is mainly expenses against the budget and submission of variance report on monthly basis.
- Hands on Experience in Tally/ERP and other accounting software and working on the system.
- Ensured compliance with direct and indirect tax regulations.
- Any other responsibility wrt accounts and finance function as directed by the management.
