Role Overview: As a Vertex O Series Configuration Analyst / Business Systems Analyst, you will play a key role in configuring and supporting Vertex O Series tax software solutions to meet our business requirements. You will collaborate closely with our tax, finance, and IT teams to ensure the accurate calculation and reporting of taxes across our organization. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field. 3+ years of experience as a Vertex O Series Configuration Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or similar role. Proficiency in configuring and customizing Vertex O Series tax software, including tax rules, rates, jurisdictions, and exemptions. Responsibilities: Configure and customize Vertex O Series tax software to support tax calculation, reporting, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements, identify tax-related issues, and recommend solutions. Design and. implement tax rules, rates, jurisdictions, and exemptions within Vertex O Series software. Perform system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing of Vertex O Series configurations. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Vertex O Series tax software, including calculation errors and data discrepancies. Provide technical support and training to end-users on Vertex O Series functionality and best practices. Develop and maintain documentation of Vertex O Series configurations, processes, and procedures. Stay current with Vertex O Series updates, releases, and best practices to ensure optimal system performance
