Job Description We are seeking an experienced and accomplished Node.js Developer with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Node.js Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient server-side applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Responsibilities Backend Development : Design and implement server-side applications using Node.js. Develop RESTful APIs to support front-end functionalities. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic. Database Integration Work with various databases, including relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases. Design database schemas and optimize queries for maximum performance. API Development And Integration Create and maintain scalable APIs for internal and external use. Integrate third-party. APIs and services. Middleware And Microservices Develop middleware for integrating various systems. Contribute to the design and implementation of microservices architecture. Code Quality And Testing Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Conduct unit testing and integration testing to ensure the reliability of server-side components. Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback. Security And Performance Optimization Implement security best practices to protect against common web application vulnerabilities. Optimize server-side applications for maximum speed and scalability. DevOps And Deployment Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless deployment and monitoring of applications. Participate in the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline. Collaboration Work closely with front-end developers, QA engineers, and product managers to deliver high-quality software solutions. Participate in agile development methodologies and contribute to team collaboration and improvement. Documentation Document technical specifications, system architecture, and implementation details. Create and maintain API documentation for internal and external use. Requirements Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience : Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Node.js development. Skills Proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript. Experience with server-side frameworks such as Express.js. Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture. Knowledge of database systems, both relational and NoSQL. Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git. Additional Skills (Preferred) Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms. Familiarity with message-broker systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka).
