Lifecycle Management products are key to a companys product vision. The more complex a product is, the more critical is the need for life cycle management. LCM has two category of products -(1) tools to create and release patches, updates and upgrades; and(2) products to apply these patches, updates and upgrades, and also manage data migration during updates and upgrades. LCM products are very important for customers and they fully depend on these to make their environments up to date and current. These tools and products must ensure customer satisfaction by providing a smooth user experience during life cycle activities.As a part of the LCM team, you are required to build tools and products that makes life cycle management easier for customers. To do this, you will analyze and integrate external and internal customer specifications. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.
