Sectrio is seeking a Networking Intern to join our team and contribute to cybersecurity honeypot lab projects. This role requires individuals with a solid foundation in both networking and cybersecurity who are eager to gain practical experience in a dynamic environment. As a Networking Intern, you will collaborate with customers, analyze network traffic, configure OT/IoT Lab networks, manage networking devices, and provide support to internal teams. This is an excellent opportunity for college graduates or final-year students to apply their skills and further develop their expertise in networking, cybersecurity, and system administration. Looking for candidates who can work from Bangalore office. Roles & Responsibilities: Collaborate with customers on honeypot lab projects, providing support and assistance as needed. Analyze network traffic to generate reports on cyber-attacks received, contributing to the enhancement of security measures. Travel to customer locations to. configure OT/IoT Lab networks, ensuring smooth operation and integration. Connect and configure new OT/IoT devices within the honeypot environment, optimizing functionality and security. Provide support to internal teams on network-related issues, offering expertise and guidance for effective problem resolution. Interface with third-party vendors for support and escalation, facilitating efficient collaboration and issue resolution. Manage and maintain networking devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, workstations, and servers within the HoneyPot Lab network, ensuring optimal performance and security. Assist in Windows and Linux system administration tasks, including user management, software installation, and system monitoring. Automate configuration and troubleshooting activities to reduce manual efforts Skills Required: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or final year student with networking skills. Proficiency in network routing, switching, firewalls, servers, cloud, and hypervisors, with hands-on experience preferred. Solid understanding of TCP/IP protocol suite, including IPv4 and IPv6, with the ability to apply knowledge effectively. Experience interpreting network traces and utilizing tools such as tcpdump and Wireshark for troubleshooting and issue resolution. Ability to script in programming languages preferably python/shell. Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and practices, including threat detection, mitigation, and incident response. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly and effectively. Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time management abilities, with a proactive approach to tasks and challenges. Experience with Windows and Linux system administration tasks, including user management, software installation, and system monitoring. Possession of any valid certification or training experience in cybersecurity and networking would be advantageous.
