Structural Engineer @ Larsen & Toubro

Job Description

Role & responsibilities

- To perform Civil & Structural design of various industrial structures of RCC and steel for Chemical Industries

- Design of pipe rack, process and non-process buildings, warehouses, pits, equipment foundations

- Experience in greenfield and brownfield projects.

- Coordinate with LTTS onsite team for extended engineering support, as and when required

- Understand Clients requirements, get necessary inputs for design execution.

- Involvement in various meetings, interdisciplinary coordination, quality check and any local help required.

- Preparation of sketches / mark-ups for designer to make detail drawings. Review of detail drawings prepared for construction.

- Preparation of Civil & Structural BOQ and project specifications.

Skills :

- Acquainted with codes Indian codes. US codes, Euro codes are added advantage

- Good experience of structural design software. i.e., STAAD Pro, STAAD Foundation, RAM connection, RCDC,MAT3D etc.

- Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Basic knowledge of modelling software. i.e., AutoCAD, Navisworks Freedom etc.
