Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our manufacturing team. The Electrical Engineer will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems and controls for our packaging equipment. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in electrical engineering, with a focus on industrial automation and control systems. Responsibilities: 1 Design and develop electrical systems and controls for packaging equipment, including. motors, sensors, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMI (Human-Machine Interface) panels, and safety circuits. 2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software engineers, and technicians, to integrate electrical components into overall equipment design. 3. Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation for manufacturing and assembly. 4. Select appropriate electrical components and materials based on project requirements and specifications. 5. Program and configure PLCs and HMIs to control equipment operation and monitor performance. 6. Conduct testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems to ensure functionality, reliability, and compliance with regulatory standards. 7. Provide technical support to manufacturing, assembly, and service teams as needed. 8. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering. Requirements: 1.Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred. 2. 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in manufacturing or industrial automation. 3. Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN. 4. Experience with PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and HMI development. 5. Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Modbus) and networking concepts. 6. Familiarity with electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, UL, CE). 7. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 9. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. 10. Willingness to travel occasionally for customer visits or project installations.
