Quality Assurance and Automation Engineer @ Revature

Job Description

QA Automation Engineer with a strong knowledge of test automation, with expertise in API testing, manual testing, database validation, and web application testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test data for functional, regression, and system testing.
• Perform API testing using Postman.
• Database testing to validate data integrity and backend processes using SQL queries.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to ensure test coverage and product quality.
• Analyze test results, identify bugs, and track issues to closure using JIRA.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Java, Selenium WebDriver for web UI testing.
• Design and implement API test automation using Rest Assured for RESTful services.
