Vedanta Aluminium, a division of Vedanta Limited, is Indias largest producer of aluminium and value-added aluminium products. Vedanta Ltd., Jharsuguda is the Greenfield Aluminium smelter of Vedanta Aluminium. It is Indias largest single-location Aluminium smelter and the only Indian smelter in the global 1 Million Tonne Club of primary Aluminium producers. With an installed smelting capacity of 1.75 MTPA, the company currently produces more than a third of Indias and nearly 2% of global primary Aluminium. The Jharsuguda operations comprises has two smelters 0.5 MTPA and 1.25 MTPA (SEZ) and two power plants with a combined capacity of 3615 MW. Roles and Responsibilities Oversee day to day financial operations. and transactions Coordinate and conduct internal audits to assess compliance with company policies and procedures Monitor budgetary allocations and expenditures to ensure alignment with organizational goals Liaise with external auditors and regulatory agencies as necessary to facilitate audits and compliance reviews Review and analyze financial statements and reports for accuracy and completeness Ensure accurate recording and reporting of financial data Drive automation initiatives to streamline sales, accounts, and business controllership processes, improving efficiency and accuracy Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance and adherence to best practices Education Qualification | Work-Ex| Desired Attributes Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
