Mission Details Markets : B to B, Industrial applications Regular internal communications with DAMPRE, Business Directors, R&D Directors, Technical Support, Operations, Product Safety & Regulatory, Quality, etc Supporting HP&C business -GLOBAL Working inside the R&D, the New Product Development project manager is responsible for organizing and delivering strategic projects that impact company performance. He/she participates in business growth, margin optimization, product compliance, customer satisfaction, sustainability and innovation The Project Manager is the leader of the project process and effort. The position has to manage a part of the NPD portfolio. She / He ensures that the project progresses on time and on budget and delivers in alignment with the commitments made to the projects customer (internal or external). The project manager animates the project team. She / He adapts to situation, drives the change and lifts ambiguity to fix clear goals. The project. team is composed of different departments members spread all over the globe. Accountabilities Follow Gate process in place. Prepare the documentation for the Gate validation meetings. Organize the activities, deadlines and steps. Update Clarity & any IT tool for project management Guide decisions and arbitrations considering the overall context of the company and the strategic dimension of the project. Know where to find experts or "odd profiles, in-house or external, to add to the team when necessary. When such resources are not present, provide feedback to the organization on how to adjust. Commit with the Team to deadlines, cost and performance targets. Challenge the economic and budgetary project dimension. Propose with the Team and validate decisions with the sponsor & gatekeepers. Make sure that all team members have a global vision of the project and update on any change. Help team find his / her place in the team, unite the group to create identification to the project, team spirit and synergies. Know how to arbitrate and manage conflicts. Organize and lead project team meetings as well as individual interviews when needed. Make sure that everyone commits to deadlines and achieve results. Provide assistance and time to the team if necessary. Assess, formalize and communicate appraisal of the team members to their respective managers. Measure the performance of the project: results vs. resources, OTIF Detect the possible extensions of the project or a new project, be proactive Competencies Flexibility. Reactivity. Accuracy. Product Management & Marketing skills; preferably adhesive or chemical background Bachelor Degree with 3-5 years of experience in Product/Project Management in B2B and/or Sales & Marketing, preferably in the chemical industry Excellent project management skills. Excellent communication skills in cross functional & multi-cultural environment. Ability to evolve in a cross-functional team with transversal management Basic knowledge in financials, Data management. Perform Microsoft Office, especially excel, Good team sprit ; Willing to do attitude
