Job Description
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in SQL, BigQuery, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with hands-on experience in developing reports and dashboards using Looker Studio, Looker Standard, and LookML. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using Looker Studio and Looker Standard.
Develop and maintain LookML models, explores, and views to support business reporting requirements.
Optimize and write advanced SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
Work with BigQuery as the primary data warehouse for managing and analyzing large datasets.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable reporting solutions.
Implement data governance, access controls, and performance optimizations within the Looker environment.
Perform root-cause analysis and troubleshooting for reporting and data issues.
Maintain documentation for Looker projects, data models, and data dictionaries.
Stay updated with the latest Looker and GCP features and best practices.
