Job Description

The Sales Operations Manager plays a vital role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales team by streamlining sales processes and driving performance improvements. This role also involves providing ongoing operational support and fostering the professional development of sales team.



  • Sales Process Optimization: Design the workflow and implement processes to improve sales cycle, increasing overall efficiency and productivity.

  • Sales Data Analysis: Analyse sales data to uncover trends, actionable insights, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Management: Collaborate with sales and marketing operations, ensuring smooth collaboration and execution of sales and demand generation processes.

  • Sales Goal Management: Track sales targets aligning with organizational objectives. Address and communicate blockages within the system for smooth sales operations.

  • Sales Tool Oversight: Manage the implementation, integration, and ongoing maintenance of CRM (Salesforce) systems and sales analytics tools.

  • Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments across sales processes to identify potential operational risks; develop mitigation strategies and ensure adherence to internal and external controls.

  • Scheduling client meetings: Coordinate and schedule client meetings in collaboration with sales team to support relationship-building and sales objectives.

  • QBRs and Board Meetings: Preparing data for QBR and Board meetings

Required Skills:


  • Should have a minimum 7+ years of experience working in Sales and Sales operations

  • Understanding of the role of direct sales, partner sales and marketing elements in demand generation

  • Should have hands-on experience working into data analysis, reporting

  • Hands-on working experience in CRM software (Salesforce), MS-Excel, Power BI etc.

  • A good financial acumen for generating actionable insights

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to adapt and solve problems effectively

  • Should have a customer-centric approach

  • The candidate should have worked in the software product organisation and have some understanding of software licenses, renewals, etc.

  • A good understanding of Test Automation is preferred.
