Job Title: 5G Core Deployment Engineer
Location: Noida
Experience: 3-7 or (Any)Job Description: We are looking for dynamic and technically skilled professionals to join our 5G Core deployment team. As a 5G Core Deployment Engineer, you will play a crucial role in deploying, testing, and troubleshooting 5G Core Network components in cloud-native environments.Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy and configure 5G Core Network Functions (NFs) such as AMF, SMF, UPF, NRF, PCF, etc.
- Perform end-to-end testing and troubleshoot 5G core components and call flows (Registration, PDU Session Establishment, etc.).
- Execute and manage containerized network function deployments using Kubernetes (K8s).
- Monitor and validate network health, performance, and system logs for any operational issues.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to resolve deployment and integration challenges.
- Work on cloud environments such as AWS, and contribute to infrastructure provisioning and scaling if applicable.
- Maintain documentation related to deployment procedures, configurations, and issue resolution
Required Skills:
- Good understanding of 5G Core architecture and 5G call flows (especially Registration, Session Management, and Handover).
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (basic to intermediate level: Pods, Services, Helm charts, Logs).
- Familiarity with troubleshooting tools (e.g., tcpdump, Wireshark, logs from NFs).
- Basic experience or familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS is an added advantage.
- Understanding of virtualization and containerization (Docker knowledge is a plus).
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins.
- Familiarity with Open5GS, Free5GC, or vendor-specific 5GC platforms (Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei, etc.).
- Exposure to network protocols such as SCTP, HTTP/2, GTP-U, etc.
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electronics, or related fields.
