Position Overview: As a Design Engineer focused on IC Design in the Core Electronic/Semiconductor domain, you will be responsible for the design and development of high-performance integrated circuits. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create innovative solutions that push the boundaries of electronic technology. Responsibilities: IC Design: Lead and contribute to the design and development of complex integrated circuits, from concept to tape-out, ensuring compliance with performance, power, and area targets. Analog/Mixed-Signal Design: Specialize in analog and mixed-signal circuit design, including amplifiers, data. converters, voltage references, and other critical components. Digital Design: Collaborate on digital design aspects, including RTL coding, synthesis, and implementation of digital blocks within the integrated circuits. Circuit Simulation: Conduct extensive circuit simulations and analyses to validate design performance, identify potential issues, and optimize circuit behavior. Power Management: Design power-efficient circuits and work on power management strategies for integrated circuits. Technology Nodes: Work with advanced semiconductor process technologies and explore opportunities for innovation in IC design. Design Verification: Develop and implement verification plans to ensure the correctness and functionality of IC designs. Collaboration with Layout Teams: Collaborate closely with layout teams to guide physical implementation and layout of designed circuits. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with system architects, verification engineers, and other teams to achieve overall project goals. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including specifications, design reports, and design reviews. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in IC design methodologies. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in IC design within the semiconductor industry. Proficiency in analog and mixed-signal circuit design, with experience in digital design aspects. Hands-on experience with industry-standard EDA tools for IC design and verification. In-depth knowledge of semiconductor process technologies and their impact on IC design. Strong understanding of power management principles and techniques. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with design-for-test (DFT) and design-for-manufacturability (DFM) concepts. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
