Job Description

Role Overview As a Senior ETL QA Lead, you will be responsible for leading and executing the quality assurance strategy for ETL processes leveraging SnapLogic, DataStage, Informatica, Talend, and other relevant tools. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, accuracy, and efficiency of our data integration processes. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for ETL processes across SnapLogic, DataStage, Informatica, Talend, and other ETL tools. Lead a team of QA analysts to conduct end-to-end testing, including data validation, data transformation, and data movement within ETL pipelines. Design and implement automated testing frameworks and tools to streamline the QA process and ensure scalability. Collaborate with ETL developers, data engineers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure adherence to quality standards. Perform root cause analysis for. identified defects, provide detailed reports, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Act as a subject matter expert in ETL QA methodologies, best practices, and tools, providing guidance and mentorship to the QA team. Monitor and evaluate ETL performance, identifying optimization opportunities and recommending enhancements. Requirements Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. 3 -10 years Hands-on experience in Quality Assurance for ETL processes, including extensive exposure to SnapLogic, DataStage, Informatica, Talend, and similar tools. Proven experience in designing and executing test strategies, test plans, and test cases for complex ETL workflows. Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL architecture, and data modeling principles. Proficiency in scripting languages and experience in automation frameworks for ETL testing. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex ETL issues. Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Preferred Relevant certifications in ETL tools (SnapLogic, DataStage, Informatica, Talend, etc.). Experience in cloud based ETL solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP). (ref:hirist.tech
