Job Description

Job Title: ETL Developer (DataStage) Location: offshore position Summary: We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer proficient in DataStage with a minimum of 5 years of overall experience in data integration and migration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in utilizing DataStage for file-based or ODBC-based data integrations, particularly with Salesforce environments. They will play a critical role in migrating data from various sources into our Salesforce org, as well as ensuring seamless data synchronization between Salesforce and on-premise data stores. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using IBM DataStage for all file-based or ODBC-based data integrations with Salesforce. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data migration requirements from other Salesforce orgs or disparate source systems, and implement efficient solutions using DataStage. Ensure the integrity, reliability, and scalability of ETL processes, including. error handling and performance optimization. Develop and maintain data synchronization jobs to transfer data from Salesforce to on-premise data stores, adhering to data governance and security standards. Work closely with Salesforce administrators, developers, and business analysts to gather requirements and ensure successful data integration and migration projects. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ETL processes, data quality, and data synchronization in a timely manner. Document ETL processes, configurations, and solutions to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance. Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends related to ETL development and Salesforce integration. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in ETL development, with a focus on IBM DataStage. Proven experience in integrating data with Salesforce using DataStage, including file-based and ODBC-based integrations. Hands-on experience with data migration projects involving Salesforce or other CRM systems. Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases, with the ability to write complex queries and optimize performance. Experience with data synchronization between cloud-based and on-premise systems. Familiarity with Salesforce data model, APIs, and data loading tools (e.g., Data Loader, Bulk API). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic environment. Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Developer) would be a plus.
