Responsibilities:
1. Complete store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on
work results
2. Maintain store staff job results by coaching, counseling and disciplining employees; planning,
monitoring, and appraising job results
3. Secure merchandise by implementing security systems and measures
4. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
5. Maintain inventory by implementing purchasing plans and staying in contact with vendors and
the sourcing team.
6. Manage all controllable costs to keep operations profitable
7. Manage stock levels and make key decisions about stock control
8. Respond to supplier complaints and comments
9. Forecast staffing needs and develop a recruiting strategy to provide optimal staffing in all areas.
10. Preparation of MIS for stores located at different locations, consolidation, and presentation to
Management.
