Description Sr. SQL Developer SQL Server developer role, candidate to have experienced in building, maintaining stored procedures, SSIS, optimizing SQL queries, familiarity with Service Broker and exposure to latest development tools. Responsibilities and Duties Interacting with client, functional experts and developers to understand the system requirements. Architecture and design of data models and database schemas based upon the requirements. Develop and implement database administration and operational procedures. Controlling access permissions, security and privileges for different users. Implementing database clustering and. ensure High Availability. Creating, maintaining and optimizing database objects like indexes, triggers, views, stored procedures, catalogs, etc. Optimizing the performance of SQL query and non-query commands. Developing and implementing standards and procedures for database development, administration and deployment. Installing, Deploying and Maintaining SQL Server database across different project environments like development, system testing, user acceptance testing and production. Developing, managing and testing back-up and recovery plans. Ensuring that storage, archiving, back-up and recovery procedures are functioning correctly. Capacity planning. Fine tuning and optimizing database performance and throughput for High Volume OLTP applications. Experience 10+ years of SSRS & SSIS 10+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA Architect/Developer/Administrator on large scale (more than 50 tables) software development projects. 10+ years of experience in developing conceptual, logical and physical models through requirements gathering with developers and end users using common data modeling tools. 10+ years on a software development project that requires maintaining schema and data chances in a large scale environment. 10+ years of performance tuning in a large-scale SQL database environment. 10+ years of experience in integration, initializing, populating, synchronizing, cleansing, mapping and transforming Bulk Data Migration on large scale projects with more than 50 million records. 10+ years in developing both OLTP and data warehousing data models (Kimball environment). 10+ years of experience in working with SQL Server 2005/2008/2012/2016 CLUSTER Active/(Active/Passive) including database schema design, optimization, SQL Development, failover, XML, meta-data. Experienced designing a database cluster to handle more than one million OLTP transactions daily
