Job Description

Content Support expands and maintains (editorial) content and Media Relations data while focusing on quality, customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

We are looking for people who are interested in developing their skills in a fast-paced and dynamic workplace, and a positive and solution-oriented attitude is a must-have.

Youll join a truly enthusiastic team of friendly people and will be working as part of the wider Content Support team across the globe.

Your main responsibility in this position is to continually maintain Meltwaters content crawling solutions.

All required training will be provided to you to master your tasks

It is beneficial if you have a basic understanding of "Web Data Extraction" and its associated challenges.

What You'll Do:

Master our internal tooling to update crawler configurations

Continuous improvement of content quality and expansion of content coverage

Work with other divisions to help increase customer satisfaction

Collaborate with engineering teams to improve current and develop future in-house tooling

What You'll Bring:

1-2 years experience in a support role

Bachelors degree in computer science or related field

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS

Firm understanding of HTTP (status codes, authentication, etc.)

Quick learner

Strong analytical skills and reliability

Flexible and able to adjust quickly to changes

Great attention to detail and accuracy in work

Understanding of software engineering processes with complex technical issues

A passion for learning different technologies

Demonstrated skill in resolving technical issues

Excellent professional skills, including effective written and spoken communication skills

Proven ability to work on multiple tasks at the same time while paying strict attention to details

Demonstrated strong teamwork ethic

Basic knowledge of web scraping and the usage of regular expressions and/or XPATH in that context

You are technical with a customer-first mindset and comfortable with HTML, APIs, log files and solving ambiguous issues

Excel formula experience a plus you're comfortable transforming data and manipulating various data types

Familiarity with JavaScript, Python or any other scripting language
