Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated Programmer with 24 years of professional experience in web and database development using Microsoft technologies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building web applications, designing databases, and developing APIs. A strong understanding of ASP.NET with VB.NET and Classic ASP is essential. Candidates with experience in mobile development and Android/Java will have an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web-based applications using ASP.NET (VB.NET) and Classic ASP.
• Design and manage relational database structures in MS SQL Server and MySQL.
• Create and consume APIs to support front-end and back-end services.
• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers for data manipulation and reporting.
• Develop responsive and dynamic front-end components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and DHTML.
• Independently handle project modules and deliver quality code with minimal supervision.
• Build and optimize complex domain-specific reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver robust solutions.

Technical Skills (Mandatory):

• Languages/Frameworks: ASP.NET (VB.NET), Classic ASP, .NET 2.0 / 4.0 / 4.6
• Web Technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Advanced DHTML
• Databases: MSSQL Server, MySQL (Strong SQL and Stored Procedures expertise)
• API Development: RESTful APIs and integration
• Reports: Experience in building complex and domain-specific reports

Additional/Preferred Skills:

• Mobile App Development (Android/iOS basic to intermediate level)
• Knowledge of Java and Android development
• Exposure to at least 2 completed application development projects
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
