Job Description

JD Senior Azure & Data Infra Engineer As a Senior Azure & Data Infrastructure Engineer with over 10 years of experience in Data Infrastructure Operations in Microsoft-centric Data Platforms (such as Azure SQL, Cosmos, ADF and/or Synapse), and Azure Infrastructure Management, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our data infrastructure. You will also be responsible for Compliance Management, Data Asset Management, Data Engineering Process Improvements, and participation in Data Infrastructure Projects. Key Responsibilities: Azure Infrastructure Management: Manage Azure subscriptions, IAM, resource groups, and individual resources for optimal performance management and cost efficiency. Ensure the security of Azure resources, implementing best practices and monitoring for vulnerabilities. Data Infrastructure Operations: Maintain and optimize Microsoft-centric data platforms, file stores, and associated data infrastructure. Proactively monitor data infrastructure for performance issues and take corrective actions. Compliance Management: Implement and oversee compliance measures for data infrastructure, including Data Infrastructure Compliance, Content Validation, and GDPR. Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with relevant data regulations. Data Asset Management: Manage data asset inventory, usage tracking, and removal of orphaned or redundant objects. Implement data asset management best practices to ensure data quality and availability. Data Engineering Process Improvements: Lead and participate in incident management, change management, and testing processes to maintain data infrastructure stability and reliability. Create and maintain documentation for data infrastructure processes and configurations. Data & Analytic Catalogs Maintenance: Manage and maintain data and analytic catalogs to enable easy data discovery and usage across the organization. Ensure data catalogs are up-to-date and accessible to relevant teams. Data Infrastructure Projects: Collaborate on data infrastructure projects related to resource consolidation, capacity optimization, and data migration initiatives. Provide expertise and guidance to ensure the successful completion of projects. Qualifications: Bachelors or masters degree in a relevant field. 10+ years of experience in Data Infrastructure Operations, particularly in Microsoft-centric data platforms and Azure. Strong expertise in Azure infrastructure management, security, and compliance. Experience with data asset management, data engineering process improvements, and data & analytic catalogs maintenance. Proven participation in data infrastructure projects, including resource consolidation and data migration. Relevant certifications in Azure or data management (e.g., Azure Certified Engineer, Microsoft Certified Data Engineer) preferred. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills. Strong analytical skills. Excellent Crisis Management ability Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment
