Hello! We are looking for a pro-CAD mechanical engineer, who can understand designs, know their work, build engineering details, and translate design forms accurately. We are an innovation-driven start-up company with a creative space for ideas and great product designs. The ideal candidate will create, draft, design product layouts and CAD models using references in the form of rough designs, sketches and design recommendations. The candidate will become a part of the creative process for the development of projects. The individual must have the ability to work in a team and be a team player. Having an approach to validate design details and make adjustments where necessary. Additionally, they will examine design errors, broken structures and resolve issues for further development and manufacturing. Profile : Design Engineer Responsibilities : Able to deliver final Computer-Aided Models and technical drawings for manufacturing. Strong control on and can independently work on 3D Modelling Softwares. Good communication skills, can work independently and is a team player. Required to know the functioning of mechanical parts thoroughly. High attention to detail. Knowledge of electricals is an advantage. An approach of making the impossible, possible. Ability to meet targets and deadlines. Has the willingness to go a mile further. Digital model cross verification and prototype testing. Be able to find design flaws and raise concerns for design improvement. Document work like preparation of equipment Technical data sheets, specification documents & design calculations. Shall have the ability to explain the drawing/design & the scope of work to the vendor as well as to the construction team as & when necessary. Review & analyze the technical offers received from the vendor and be able to communicate the requirement as per design. Interest and inclination toward creative growth and learning outside of work. Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Prior experience in design model fabrication. 3+ years of industry experience. Strong knowledge of mechanical parts, assemblies and computer-aided design. Time management, planning and regular progress reporting. Proficient and expert modeling skills with Solidworks. Fluent with Microsoft Office and flexible with exploring different softwares for work.
